Deleting your account

This page is for the Shelvo mobile app (Android package app.shelvo), operated by
Çağlar Enes Sezgün.
You can delete your account in two ways. Both have the same result.
1. From inside the app (fastest)
- Open the Shelvo app
- Go to the Settings screen
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the page
- Confirm — your account is deactivated immediately and all your sessions are revoked and your profile becomes invisible to other users. Your data is permanently erased from our servers 30 days later.
2. Without installing the app (by email)
If you cannot access the app, write to support@shelvo.app from the email address registered to your account. Put "Account deletion request" in the subject line.
When we receive your request we reply to that address to verify your identity; your account is deleted once you confirm. Requests are concluded within 30 days at the latest, and usually much faster in the app.
Data that is deleted
All of the following is permanently erased within 30 days:
- Your account details: email, username, display name, profile and cover images
- Your collection records, quantities, notes and lists
- The photos you uploaded (including the files in storage)
- Your follow, like and block records
- Your session records (including IP and device information)
Data that remains, and for how long

Undoing deletion
Deletion cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your collection, write before deleting to support@shelvo.app from the email address registered to your account; we will send it as a machine-readable file within 30 days.
